At LIFX, not only do we love great lighting, but we are also avid fans of making things work together. That’s why when asked by our friends at IFTTT if we would be interested in being one of the companies to develop on their new beta platform, we said yes!
We’ve worked closely with IFTTT to bring their experience seamlessly to the LIFX app. No longer do you need to navigate to their website to connect your lights with the 330 (and counting) services they have available (that number includes the likes of Twitter, August, Ring and ESPN). With just a few well placed swipes and taps on your smart device you can set your lights to blink when you’re mentioned on twitter, dim when you leave the house or change colour when it rains. Oh, and did we mention that it’s direct from the LIFX app? Just tap the IFTTT icon in LIFX and switch on your favourite service.
